Financial Manager

Main Job Description: The Financial Manager is primarily responsible for managing and directing the financial activities of the company to ensure the achievement of its financial goals. The Financial Manager oversees the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budget management, and ensures the company’s compliance with accounting standards and tax laws. In addition, the Financial Manager provides strategic consulting to senior management regarding financial performance, investment opportunities, and financial risk analysis. The Financial Manager also supervises the financial team and works on improving the efficiency of financial processes to achieve financial sustainability and growth

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and reports to assist management in making strategic decisions.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial planning.
• Monitor budget compliance and analyze variances between actual results and projections.
• Financial efficiency and cost control.
• Supervise accounts management and payments.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and accounting records.
• Coordinate with external auditors to conduct annual audits.
• Monitor daily cash flows and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.
• Develop strategies for managing surplus cash and debts.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax and accounting laws.
• Supervise the preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities.
• Lead and guide the accounting and finance team.
• Ability to develop financial programs that align with the business.
• Provide training and professional development for the financial team.
• Evaluate team performance and identify training needs.
• Participate in the development of long-term financial strategies.
• Evaluate the financial viability of new projects and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the coordination of financial operations with organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferably with a professional certification such as CPA or CFA).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the financial field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (such as SAP, Natej Soft).
• Knowledge of local and international financial and accounting laws.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound financial decisions based on analysis.
